The Delta Gamma Foundation provides resources for educational growth and philanthropic service for all members. We can be proud to be the most proactive Foundation in the Greek world. Our success is due to our members' lifetime commitment to Delta Gamma. The motto “Do Good,” penned by our Founders before the letters Delta Gamma were even chosen, is alive and well in the 21st century.

 

However, the work of the Foundation extends beyond service. The Foundation's programs include scholarships, graduate fellowships, interest-free student loans, Service for Sight grants, leadership and educational programming, assistance to members in crisis and more. Service for Sight has been at the heart of Delta Gamma’s philanthropic mission since 1936.

 

The Delta Gamma Foundation has given over $2,800,000 in Service for Sight grants to organizations and schools that share the Foundation’s mission: to promote sight preservation and assistance to children and adults who are blind or visually impaired. Through grants given to organizations that share the Delta Gamma Foundation's mission, each dollar is spread across North America to accomplish more together than alone. Children with vision loss have been able to experience the thrill of a lifetime at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center.

 

Students have been aided with free, state-of-the art eyeglasses, specialized computer monitor technology, braille books, and unlimited access to a new children’s Braille Library.
